My paintings are a praise of variability, diversity and being different. I believe that women do not fall into one homogenous category and each woman does not need to define herself once for life. Various experiences change her throughout life; all changes enrich and build her identity. Braidotti claims that subject’s identity is always somewhere in between. Subject’s identity is being, acting, finding herself in the world as much as amid nature and culture. Each identity exists between masculinity and femininity. My NUDES depict the exact moment of being in between.
